Our entire staff at Cranberry is composed of a group of people who want to grow closer to the Lord and His people as they serve. They are more than happy to help you however they can.
Roger E. Pauley | Pastor
Pastor Pauley preached his first message on June 3, 1984 and began his first Pastorate at Cranberry on the 1st Sunday of June in 1990. Since that time, the church has grown consistently and hundreds of people have come to know Christ as their Saviour! Pastor Pauley actually pastored our church bi-vocation for eight years and became a full time Pastor on January 1, 1998.
Our Pastor and his wife, Marcia, have two grown children, Scott and Stacie. Scott Pauley, graduated from Crown College in 1997. He is currently on staff at Crown College and Temple Baptist Church in Powell, TN. Scott and his wife, Tammy, have two daughters and one son. The Pauley’s daughter, Stacie, is also a graduate of Crown and is married to Ty Thomas, who serves at Cranberry as an assistant to the Pastor. Ty and Stacie have two sons and one daughter.
Ty Thomas | Assistant Pastor | Choir / Music | Children’s Ministry
Ty Thomas grew up in a Christian home in Williamsport, PA. He heard the Bible taught from a child and trusted Christ as his personal Savior on October 14, 1991, at the age of 15. He was called into full-time Christian service his freshman year at Crown College, where he majored in Youth Ministry. Upon completion of college, the Lord led Brother Ty and his wife, Stacie, to the Cranberry Baptist Church. He has been serving as an assistant to the Pastor for thirteen years in various ministries.
Brother Ty believes that God still can and will save souls and do mighty works this day. He wants to strengthen the things that remain and pass on the truth to the next generation. Ty and his wife, Stacie, have three children; two boys, Micah and Caden, and a daughter, Sydney.
Brad Nesbitt | Assistant Pastor
Brad Nesbitt grew up in a Christian home and was saved at an early age in life. As a teenager, through the preaching of God’s Word at summer camps and revival services, God worked in Brad’s heart to be in the ministry. He attended The Crown College of the Bible in Powell, TN where he earned his Pastoral Ministry degree and Master of Ministry degree. After completing his studies at Crown, Brad and his wife, Casey, joined Grace Baptist Church in Waynesboro, PA. He served there seven years as Children’s Director and then Youth Pastor. In 2014 God led Brad and Casey to move to Beckley, WV to serve at Cranberry Baptist Church. Brother Brad’s desire is see the next generation reached with the Gospel, and to follow the Lord with their lives. Brad and his wife, Casey, have been married for over nine years, and have three children; Carter, Cadyn, and Kaylee.
Marcia Pauley | Office Administrator
Marcia J. Pauley, who is the wife of Pastor Pauley, serves voluntarily as Office Administrator for the church. She and her husband met in church and were married on August 11, 1973. The Pauleys have two children, Scott and his wife, Tammy, and Stacie and her husband, Ty, and six wonderful grandchildren! Marcia, who is actually an LPN, is a great asset to the Pastor and the church. She enjoys serving the Lord in various ministries of the church. She is the Sunday School teacher for the Ladies Bible class and director of the Phebe Fellowship for the ladies group. Marcia says, “I enjoy working with my husband and serving the Lord together.” Other than the church, Maw Maw really loves spending time with the grandchildren!
Vanessa Giles | Secretary
Vanessa Giles and her family began attending Cranberry in the fall of 2000. Vanessa was saved in 1984 and later baptized here at Cranberry in 2000. Vanessa began working at the church as Secretary in 2004. She is very involved in the ministries of the church, serving as the Kindergarten Sunday School teacher and director of the 3 year olds through 5 year olds in Master Clubs. She also serves with her husband, Steve, who is a Deacon and Head Usher, in various ministries of the church. Vanessa and Steve have two grown sons and six wonderful grandchildren.
